1. To be aware of the OT’s scheduled and being aware of the cases that have been allotted.
2. To ensure that all equipments / requirements are available as per the case requirement, before the surgery, and are in good working condition.
3. To operate equipments like C-Arm, Setting of T.V, VCR, Camera (Laparoscopic equipments) etc.
4. To inform the sister-in-charge / OT secretary to correspond with the biomedical department in case of non-functioning or any other equipments related problem.
5. Attachment of OT table, video trolley with camera, microscope etc. Ensuring to keep it back after procedure.
6. Shift patient to recovery. Help the patient to be in correct position, Attaching monitor, oxygen mask, and ensuring that the patient is comfortable. Inform pharmacy stores for use consumables.
7. Preparing for the OT set up for the next case.
8. To be on call during night shifts.
9. Any equipment breakdown during the procedure needs to be informed to OT in charge.
10. Proper handling and caring of all the equipments.
11. In case of any problem with the equipment, send the complaint to the concerned person in writing
12. Damaged equipment should be replaced immediately.
13. Maintain daily inventory checking.
14. Stock checking should be done once in a week.
15. Prepare and maintain a stock register.
16. Participate in CQI programmer of the organization.

<br> <br> <u>Other Responsibilities:</u> <br>

1. Responsible to arrange duties of technician according to requirement of department.
2. Maintain inventory list of medicine and equipment.
